Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use

The Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 combines two of the most essential baby items: strollers and infant car seats. It makes hopping on and off public transport (and climbing and descending the stairs) much more convenient.

Doona's infant car seat and stroller combination is a fantastic choice. It's the first integrated travel system that allows you to switch between the car seat and stroller in just a few seconds without disturbing your baby.

Easy to Use

Parents must have a stroller and car seat combination that is simple to use. These travel systems let you easily switch between running errands or walking the dog and going for a run. You can also keep up with the ever-changing needs of your child, so you can have fun with your family adventures. Our testers love how easily and smoothly these travel systems glide, regardless of whether they feature a single front wheel or a swiveling front wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo, the BOB Alterrain pro combo and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo are easy to maneuver. However, the BOB Revolutionflex 3.0 Combo and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo can be pulled by one hand.

Some models can be difficult to remove or attach from the base. The Doona Combo requires a two step process of attachment, and straps that cover the bottom portion of the infant carrier. It's tempting to skip these steps however it could result in unsafe results.

Some models are more difficult to fold and store than others, which makes them less practical. Graco FastAction 3 in 1 Car Seat Stroller is difficult to fold due to its large dimensions and bulky frames. Some reviewers also find the canopy on this model disappointing. However the Britax Parkway Click and Go Combo is very simple to fold with just the pull of an lever and the push of an button.  pram pushchair 2 in 1  is an excellent option for parents who wish to use their car seat in other people's cars, as it is able to be removed from the base.

Easy to Fold

If you're storing your car seat on its own, in the trunk of your car or even in a closet, it must be simple to fold and unfold. The best combinations we've tested fold easily in one hand and are strong enough to withstand long walks. They are also easy to maneuver and glide smoothly over uneven surfaces. We've seen some combos that can only be connected or disengaged using straps which can be a hassle and make it harder for parents to secure the car seat properly.

We love the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo for its convenient features and sturdy build, which includes a large storage basket that's accessible from the front to the back. SafeCenter LATCH, an exclusive feature of the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo makes it simple to install a car seat by connecting the lower anchors and pulling the straps tight.

It's also quite light and compact, making it an excellent option for frequent travelers or families with multiple vehicles. Both the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 scored very well in our user-friendliness tests. Both have a single wheel that is simple to push with one hand. ) and a swivel wheel with a variety of angles that's perfect for shopping and running errands. The only downside is that they're heavy and may be difficult to lift when a baby is in the car seat.

Easy to Assemble

Some stroller and car seat combinations can be difficult to put together. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the easiest to put together. It even includes a handy quick-start guide which makes putting this system together an easy task. Other models we tested such as the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule Urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also relatively easy to put together. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however isn't easy to put together. It requires two steps: attaching the lower anchors and using straps that cover the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy so it takes two people to click the carrier into the base, and then detach it.

In our tests, it took about 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby Cruz. It's a fairly quick procedure when you take into account the time saved from not having to rip out all the pieces. The toddler seat can be slid into and detached easily on most of these models.
