Easy to Fold
If you're storing your car seat on its own, in the trunk of your car or even in a closet, it must be simple to fold and unfold. The best combinations we've tested fold easily in one hand and are strong enough to withstand long walks. They are also easy to maneuver and glide smoothly over uneven surfaces. We've seen some combos that can only be connected or disengaged using straps which can be a hassle and make it harder for parents to secure the car seat properly.

Easy to Assemble

The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however isn't easy to put together. It requires two steps: attaching the lower anchors and using straps that cover the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy so it takes two people to click the carrier into the base, and then detach it.
In our tests, it took about 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby Cruz. It's a fairly quick procedure when you take into account the time saved from not having to rip out all the pieces. The toddler seat can be slid into and detached easily on most of these models.
